Hi all
   Im thinking of picking up a 75 bootlid to replace my rusted 1980 lid on my MK2 rs2000 restoration. Question is are these lids identical or were there small changes. My RS bootlid had all the badge holes filled and Id like to restore the black "escort 2.0 " badges on the bootlid. Are the holes on the bootlids all the same or did , for example , ghias have different badge holes to a gl etc.

Badge holes are all different. The 75 bootlid will have holes for ford in individual letters for a start. Not hard to modify though. Some careful measuring and you wont know the difference.
