Hi all,

Mk2 Pinto, running 350 Holley - standard washer bottle doesn't fit due to width. I have space on the side for a vertical bottle rather than the wide standard bottle.

What are my options?

a) Is there a special spot I can mount and use the standard bottle?
b) Is there an alternative washer bottle that uses the same wiring that isn't as wide?
c) Can I remove the motor/mount of the standard bottle and place onto a bottle that fits?

Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Factory 2 litre MK2's had the washer bottle on the drivers side so you could find one of those and your problem would be solved.

Ah true - I have done the conversion from a 1.6 so that explains that.

How would I go with wiring though? - my loom etc is still on the right hand side. Is it a case of just soldering a new length of wire across to the drivers side?

Trying to see the easiest way out possible!

Thanks mate!

Take it off the black factory bkt that attaches it to the strut top and mount it near the radiator on the inner wing(3 screws) where the battery used to live(battery moved to boot) or the opposite side.
