Most with a MK1 will have seen the discussion on the uk forums reagrding the new tooling for MK1 front guards and the possibility of new shells.

I would hate to think of the price of the shell??

Unfortunately he is a big player which I fear, want to make alot of coin off of us.... The guy in the UK doing the guards has his heart and soul into the project and doesnt want to rip us off. He also wants to do the shells but has not enough interest at the moment.

You could probably get a pair of guards sent from the UK for the price of one from Brissy.... And the quality i would think will be better from the UK as he was in the same room when the tooling was made , and also made changes when no happy with the first batch...

Thanks Peter, I have indicator stalk and headlight wiper stalk, aftermarket though, same with tail lights, only genuine Escort parts I have for Mk2 is passenger guard and bonnet and passenger 4 door front door. Cheers, Jeff

Worth checking for Mk1 parts though.

He is currently getting the mark 1 guards trial pressed in Taiwan; he does not have them yet despite the ebay add, and doesn't expect them for 3 months. He is not using the UK ones and is entirely seperate.

His sills are expected to sell for $400; I sell mine for $125. His mark 1 front panels on ebay are mine; he lists them, sells them then gets the supplier to freight them direct. Seems he does this with quite a few people. Do what I did and look at the photo's and go "faaaaark".
I have repro mark 2 front guards in stock for $250. Front panels as well.

Check his prices then check mine; as usual Smcka is cheapest and has the stuff in stock.

November is when I expect to have the UK front guards in stock. News is they will be available in UK around mid-September and I will have some on the way as soon as they are available.
