I did something like this a couple of years ago and it disappeared so I've recreated it.



I don't believe the Wheels 1980 figures should be so low. Must have been a tight engine or something about the dyno.

Interesting to see how a relatively standard engine (mine: 32/36, std cam, extractors, Sierra inj. head) makes decent power below 3000rpm but runs out of puff after that.

Steve's engine shows that the Sierra injection manifold can flow pretty well.

Gareths is probably not much fun in rush hour but would be great on the track!

Note I have done my best to convert km/hr to rpm off the dyno charts - may not be 100% correct but won't be too far off.

Interesting graph Avon. As Danny pointed out so clearly when i posted my dyno figures it would be nice if all the vehicles were tested on the same dyno ....

Mine isnt bad to drive from the engines point of view, its the combination of the button clutch with the rocket box's 2.48 first gear that makes it a mongrel if you have to take off up even the slightest hill with traffic behind you! After that it ROCKS! It very rarely gets driven on the street anyway.
