Nah! I was thinking to myself if I was looking for another shell Id snap it up if I didnt already have my RS. Not sure if it has any rust, but its too good a find to cut up for parts . Will be interesting to see what it goes for  , in the past Ive seen some big asks for low mileage original mk2's but I dont remember one like this with all log books and receipts for all fuel purchased!

The body's had a few knocks though. Were you watching this one the other week?

wow I missed that one. $2700 is a steal I reckon. What a tidy car . You could spend another $3-4000  on it just tidying  things like interior and such and it would be a really good car. Those steel rims are really appealing when they're painted up nice. Ive got a set of them but they're painted black so I need to strip them and spray them up. Plus you really need the black centre caps to set them off. That would be a good job for Peter Llytton who is making new parts. I know whenever these caps come up they want a fortune for them. Would have to be one of the simpler parts to mould up I'd think.
