1.3 , 1.6 gearbox the same?

Hi All
Are a 1300 and 1600 gearbox the same? want to put 1600 in my 1300 mk1 just wondering if i need the box too?

Oh, ok. I thought it was only the really early Mk1's that has the one piece casing. Were the internals the same ?
