i now see what you mean about it would have just been easier to have replaced the whole turret....might look at the whole turret when/if i do mine.

I too like the look of the age period corny sunroof but have mates that believe its a hole in a perfectly good roof...the things we do to peer pressure! [:p]

Yes bloody awesome work. 80hours work down the drain thats gotta hurt. All these lil things that some random looking at the car doesn't realise what went into it. Fantastic =)

Wow, just wow.

The amount of detail and work that went into this car just contiues to grow, and this is only fom the snapshots that we are seeing.

Really gives some insight into just how much work goes into a high level car such as this.

A lot of people would have given up after a disaster like that. I would have done a full roof skin swap as have done sunroof fillers and absolutely lothe them! My brother had a mk2 rallypack which he saved from Sims, problem is it had a Barge Corona on its roof for umpteen yrs[B)], we decided to re-skin the roof due to it being mangled severely, the finished job was quite good for 'yarders'!

Peter, can I ask how did/do you remove the door skins? Is it simply a matter of unfolding/unpicking them from the frames? Or more to it than that?
