Inside the boot on one of my cars was hand polished so to look standard and it looks great you have nailed it baked paint is hard to replicate new materials are way ahead in gloss retention off the gun and with less peal the only comparable products are low baked two pack this is a great project there is no way you would us acrylic on a car now days

Hi Peter. What did you decide about original paint runs? A great many new fords I looked at in the seventies had plenty of paint runs in the boot, engine bay and door shuts. I hope you are trying to replicate a Wednesday car not a Monday car.
