Well thanks to Smacka and his super fast shipping I now have some Gaz adjustable front strut inserts keeping me company in bed =P (I should really put them out in the garage)
Now If im reading the dyno graph thing that comes with the shocks properly it says that they range from a min of 211 lbs to 597 lbs I guessing thats per inch yeah? And the springs I order do they need to be around the same rate?
My brain just switched on lol. 10.5" 275lb springs would need ~ the same force applied to them to compress them all the way, as the shocks would when fully adjusted? But that would mean I would lose the soft end of the adjustment on the insert yeah? I really don't know and im just making it up.
haven't been able to get her running proberly since i replaced the points. Will spend tomorrow trying to sort that out. I think its just a timing thing. Timed it when it was at operating temp (went for a 30min drive) but then it wouldn't keep running in the morning when i tryed to go to work. Just backfired and carried on like a b!tch.
The joys of owning a classic or as my friends say a sh!tbox/bomb =P
Sorry for the essay posts, I just love to ask questions lol.
