Unreal... Same for me MkI_Jet! I always had old Fords but when I saw this in the magazine, it changed everything for me! I tried to get the approvals for licensing a Mk1 with a YB Cossie but after the 3 knockback I gave up. Western Australias DPI are hard buggers. I dont know... just because the car would have a power to weight ratio like nothing else they squashed me! Haha.

I have that Mk1 on a Serious Performance video doing some big skids. The owner Geoff is a chef from memory? Got rid of his Torana and got into his Escorts. Also on the vid was Jake with his Sapphire and his professional driver! Hhaha.

The first 8 minutes of that video are very worn out and faint on screen I watched it that many times!!

Talk about looking in a mirror Mik!!

Anyone know where this beast or Geoff is these days?? Phil do you know him?

Geoff still owns the car and it comes out from time to time. Im not sure what is happening with it at the moment but it usually comes out to some of the SFCC club days and to WSID here and there,I think last time it was out was All Ford Day at Warick Farm Racecourse last year.

Phil didn't this car run a 9.74 @ 139? Saw that number on there a few years ago and just assumed it was this car

Is the pinto powered car of the same owner, or just the plates? It has been bugging me for a while as to why the driveline was changed, good to know the original is still intact.
