loading these pics up for my mate, hes on here as TCcorty

250 pre crossflow, single tiny ass carby. and automatic [:x)]

gotta love it.

the "young buck" fun has already started with a hotdog replacing the rear muffler with twin tips, sounds suprisingly good, a bit drony though. factory paint, wild plum. by the sounds of it, it wont be that colour forever.

and escort hasnt really changed much, battery kept dying so replaced, haven't had a problem yet. haven't gone for another roady check yet.

im being patient started new job, saving up some money

no wonder u were crapping yourself about the tyre marks on the driveway.

yeah lol, there used to be heaps of tyre marks from me when i first got the 2ltr and was enjoying it. nowadays, i only "take advantage" of the bricked area when its wet, its more fun and doesnt leave any marks

spun out fair few times, luckily never hit anything. been teaching myself how to continue or "walk" drifts around.

and so i dont lose whatever respect i have on here, this is kiddy stuff, i know how stupid enthusiastic driving can be on public roads.

$5000, 30,000 origonal miles (believe it or not)

the price seems a little much to me, but the condition of the thing stands it off.

the seller refused an offer of $7000 because that guy said he was planning to strip it and make it into a derby/race car.

thing sat in storage for almost 15 years, due to owner passing. which happened to be an elderly woman.

Sterling almost got it right;
The bloke i bought it off told his wife that he wouldn't sell it for less then $7000 right before he came to meet me (the TC was not advertised at his home). when we met he told me about all the offers he had got, someone offered him $2000 and he was going to turn it into a derby race car. Someone else offered him $6000 though he didn't really like him. He seemed to like me though because i offered him $5500 and he accepted.
The guy is 73, he inherited the car off his aunty who died at 93. she had the car since new but stopped driving when she was 77. so it was in storage for 16 years.

Thanks for the kind words Inferno. Do you think i paid too much?

I have owned this type of car before.
You can bunnyhop them if you stall it up and on off with the break.
Just mind the high speed turns with the small tyres.
Very good towing car. did anyone call for one wheel burnouts.
