i did just that, cbf taking another pic, but it sits perfect now

thanks, if thats what you meant?

heres some pics of the jag:

my dad actually had a sprite when he was about 19 and later on he had a Triumph, one of those ones that has doors that are really low and small with no windows.

this jag got a ground up, took about 7 or 8 years working on every second weekend or so, it progressed alot slower after me and my siblings were born haha

Yep, glad to help.
Very nice early model E type.
I had a Series 2 Jaguar with a V12, i doubt you would have a long enough straight to get it up to the speeds they love and will do all day.
The red Bug eye sprite, i will own one one day with some luck.

The bonnet will look trick painted up tilted forward.
You wont have the bonnet falling on your head when the stay falls into the front panel. Guillotine experience.
The bonnet will still fly up, but wont fly over the windscreen like they can.

yeah, the jag is real fresh, the v12 only has about 2000k's on the reco/built motor.

yeah thats what dad was always talkign about them aswell, he said our xj6 was designed to sit at 200km all day long

well good to hear theres another person who enjoys british sports cars!

this little puppy i picked up today, works a treat (so it should)

i got the new air cleaner element so i chucked that on, after putting in the jets that arrived today also, i had drilled my 130's out the smallest amount, and tried drilling them out some more, when comparing the jets the ones i was running (making the flat spot) were HU[:u]GE

so now the engine runs, revs up, and handles load a bit better, its drivable to say the least. and it can make it up my driveway in 2nd at about 1500 rpm.

but still backfiring like a B***************tch.

but all is well, im savin to go get a mobile mechanic to check it out.

Did it occur to you that this will make working on the dissy, points, cam timing, waterpump, radiator , fanbelts etc etc a complete pain?

And this is on a car that has not run right since you have owned it?

Sorry Dude, I wish you all the best but you really need to get your priorities right....

Reminds me of the time me and a mate got hammered and did a 3 inch shop top to an old MK1 2 door I had, must dig out the photos...

Cheers
