heres a bit of an update, did a home made strut brace,

and finally got around to cleaning my carpets up lol

the interior is starting to look pretty good, if i werent for those damn seats...lol

hahah yeah its from a tractor set lol

all i need now is something with the front seats (replace, covers, reupholstered)

a nice running engine

and a paint job!

and then id say its pretty much ready for the road.



and yeah about the strut brace haha it wasn't even made for handling or stiffening, i was just bored and i started thinking, i got the welder and grinder out and then i realised i can just do that alot easier lol.

i did use proper steel tho, hopefully it will help stiffen things up even if its just a bit.

oh the bumperettes yeah, i was talkin about the spanner lol

yeah the bumperettes i got the idea off stevie star, he did the same, they look alot better than i thought a straight cut edge would. lol

dont mean to forcefully bring my topic to the top again

just thought i should chuck some pics in my project topic of the reverse bonnet..

will do an actual update in a bit like when the car is painted or something!

took me about 3-4 hours, and dont forget, tahts including taking an hour to find a screwdriver LOL, and its really beachin tryin to get it to line up properly, all is good, but it sits about 5-7mm to high at the front.. [x2x] ill figure it out..

A washer under bonnet hinges, the back Two bolts on each hinge will kick the bonnet forward and down that 5mm you need.
Top stuff Sterling, it's jobs like this that make flapping on here worth while.
