Awesome vid! So sad about the rolling roadblock and so glad you gave him a serve at the end.

I just watched the clip and I wouldn't have waited and would have stuck my up the inside and passed but then again I do have a reputation as a bit of a prick with that

The Moy Pocket SS on the morning of the 3rd day. It was a ripper - very fast. We averaged 116 km/h and came 7th out of 26 classic cars. The bridge was described as follows in the pace notes:

Double caution. Deadly crest. 8 left on crest into 3 left downhill onto narrow bridge with no sides.

You can see that we slowed right down for that one!

Baden thanks for posting that up. It takes me right back to my cortina gt flogging days around the dandenongs in vic. Your dad sounds young..ish. My son is a good driver but the thought of sitting beside him as navigator scares the hell out of me. So all credit to you both as father and son team.

I grew up in Montrose and we had Cortinas and Escorts all over the place with Dad rallying in the 60s, 70s & early 80s. Dad's mates ran the ForParts business down on Canterbury road - you probably had reason to deal with them if you were in the scene back then.

But you're right, it is awesome father/son time.
