On another topic of outer door handle springs (as per the pics).
These are on Mk2 Escort and TC/TD Corties, but I'm sure there are others?????
I now have a collection of old handles as I try to get some working sets together.
I contacted two companies who manufacture flat steel springs.
Looks like to tool up I'd be looking at around $30 per spring.
You guys might ponder it and let me know your thoughts as the initial outlay is a minimum of $500.
I am not aware of anyone supplying them?

Have you looked at overseas companies as they sometimes do short runs and are usually less expensive..
First place I would ask nicely is MST in Wales simply cause they make new mk1 and mk2..
