Hi like a donut forgot to take the tags off my shell before sending it to be bead blaster and they have miss placed in them the process can anyone help me i have managed to get a new chassis tag but thats it is there anyway of finding paint code and spec?

If the car is a uk /aus delivered escort, he can get in touch with the UK transport registrar(forgot it's real name) they can authenticate the car and issue new tags.
If it's an aust car you will need to give as much detail as possible to the rta in your state and hope they can help. I've never gone thru this problem but I've heard here in sth aust, the car will need a test done before new tags are issued, the tags are not like original either , just a strip of thin ally with a bunch of numbers stamped in.

If you've got the chassis number contact the RS owners club of WA, theres a guy thats quite an authority on the 25 aus delivered cars, he maybe able to help from there. Alternatively post it up or PM it to me and I can put you in touch with him.
