this might be a dumb question, but I've heard twice of a mob in Adelaide who are experienced in Duratec conversions or who many also do parts/engineering certification.
All I know, its like Taz, Tas,TandS Engineering/Conversions/Automaotive ??? and they are somewhere in Adelaide.
4 nights of searching and zilch, and annoying more than anything.
Maybe just of FB?
thanks for ending the misery.

Hi mate, maybe you are thinking of Taffs? he use to post alot on FB and speak of many zetec/duratec etc conversions.

I would tread softy here. You may have seen him advertise the 'furious' escort he was building. The owner of this car upon receiving it (he was in Melb, workshop in adl) made a quite large fb post about how he was not happy with the quality of work done, the cost of the work etc (over 30k to reassemble the car - not inc motor). Any way i believe the car was sent back to adl to have issues fixed but have not heard of any follow up online since then so unsure of the outcome. hopefully the owner is happier second time around.

Ive followed along as he does advertise doing many conversions but i have not seen one on SA roads or made road legal which he claims.

If i was you i would get in contact with Rodger Carroll from ADL, he runs a duratec in his mk1 and makes dry sump kits, engine mounts, bellhousings, water rails etc. I would start there and move forward. I believe he posted alot on the RS motorsport forum or someone here might have his contact details. If no luck i could reach out to some people and get them for you.
