Notwithstanding, I'm going to remain positive, as I was told similar to this re my request for a FULL SET of BOOKS for my GTV6 Capri where I was told I had next to zero chance of finding as-new pair of Hand-books dedicated to the 3000GT , let alone those 2 inc factory manual ! (The 3 on RHS of pic are dedicated GTV6)
A very kind stranger from interstate contacted me telling me he was cleaning out his childhood goodies and found ALL 3 TOGETHER! ..............and in immaculate nick .............and supplied ALL 3 inc postage for half the cost of a slab of beer ! ............"ya-cooda-blown-mi-down-wif-a-fedda"! ........ giga slim chance I know, but worth simply asking by letting the world know, which would have been 100% impossible before the invention of the internet.
Similar to the giga-slim chance of finding 2 new Mk1 Capri Models "NIB" for $5 each at Carrara Markets near Surfer's 4 years ago, when I first stumbled across what later became my 1972 GTV6 Capri that I wasnt even sure the owner would sell me!
Made the mistake 20 years ago when i wasnt sure my uncle would sell me his one owner(him) 1972 GS 351 Falcon Fairmont in Monza Green/Gold side-stripe fully opted factory fitted with GT Instruments. Saw a new GT LH mirror already painted in Monza Green and didnt buy it albeit a bargain price. A month later, the uncle sold me this beautiful car which i still love to death, which I drove to Beaumaris Car Display yesterday in perfect weather
