Some more details please.  Do they have a grain texture finish as OEM or completely smooth? Just black gel-coat or painted? Hard to tell from the pics. Who was your supplier by the way?
thanks,
SFE

Do they have a grain texture finish = NO SMOOTH GLASS LIKE FINISH ON TOP AND ROUGH FIBIREGLASS UNDERSIDE. IF YOU HAVE A BLACK INTERIOR YOU WANT EVEN NEED TO PAINT THEM.

I bought a set of these a while ago with the intent of making up the fitting studs on the back to use in street cars. Being motorsport items they are just meant to screw onto the C pillar. Haven't had time due to work but was thinking of getting some sets made up for sale. Nice bit of kit- postage over was a killer.

Yes postage was 50% of total cost, car at trimmers so when it gets back will add a few photos.

Hi All,
Today's burning question- on the back of your C pillar trims- how many plastic mounting pegs - 3 or 4. Seems Pommie ones have 4, my examples have 3 and a small screw hole in the top corner to fix to body. Can anyone confirm visually or diagram from parts manual?
Cheers,
Len

Attached scan from parts book shows "c" pillar trims as part numbers 31112/3 and 6 clips (3 each side) as part number 120254ES. No mention of a screw in the parts list.

Hey Philh,

you have some details on the parts book? that exploded view and others like it would be very handy reference material...

Thanks for that Phil, The screw in the corner might have been added by the previous owner just to make it a bit more secure or to keep it nice and flat against the pillar where it meets the hood lining. The trims were in pretty poor condition. I am making fibreglass ones so should be stiff enough not to need further fixing. I will soon know when the prototype is fitted.
Cheers,
Len
