Whooligan it would be better to make the mounts specifically for the Capri rather than adapting escort ones to suit. You can just use the same basic design as the Escort ones only to fit the Capri.
 
They are pretty simple to construct when you have the engine sitting in the engine bay attached to the transmission.
 
Do you think you will have enough room behind the engine in the Capri bay to use the Zetec thermostat housing, that would save alot of trouble
