All you really need to buy is the sump & pickup pipe and water rail(Dunnell). Engine mounts can be cut and Modded from pinto ones , keep the zetec flywheel and clutch cause it works just fine in escort. Extractors can be made at an exhaust shop for under $400, or less if do it yourself. Inlet is what you decide. . Bike carbs , or injection etc made local .
My last zetec conversion cost me about $1200 only cause I bought stuff from USA as well as uk.
Someone on this forum used a escort or Cortina tin sump on the zetec as they are very close in size. Think outside the box and don't always think that buying the kit is the only way to install these motors .
