I have an RS3100 - I'll be buying a spot welder for that. The Modena green one on ebay UK has inspired me - all new panels and even the spot welds are evenly spaced - neater than factory!

I have been looking at spot welders, and like the one this guy is using.

Looks like a ripper. $1200?
If you buy it, I can borrow it right?

Looks good!
This stuff seems ok - rust reformer (Bunnings) - I clean all the paint and bog etc off old panels - at the moment I'm doing bonnets) then when I get the chance I'll fix them. It seems to do a very good job at keeping them sealed and is easy to take off if required

That sounds cheap for a sender. Doing a great job with it all at the moment. Liking your doing your own thing, and letting others do the technical time consuming stuff. Keep it up.
