Thanks Paul.
Let me know in a few weeks time when you require payment & I'll get on to it.
Cheers, Jason.

G'day Paul,
Any news on the latest batch of the RX-7 caliper adaptors?
Another query, the 283 x 21mm rotors that you originally used on this set up, were they RX-7 as well ?
Sorry if I missed it, but I couldn't find a reference to the rotor type used other than the size, and I just wanted to make sure before I buy the rotors.
Cheers, Jason.

Hi Jason
I have the adapters cut but I'm struggling to get time to do some final machining and get them to the platers.
Apologies to those waiting.
The 283mm x 22mm rotors are DBA275 from a Peugeot GTi-6 1997-1999.
They're also the same as a Citreon Xantia 2.0i 1993 - 2002.
I also found a place online who sell vented variants but i can't recall the name.

Is it possible to make some for an e30 260mm disk? Or have you got a cad/make a cad of it?

Hi
Unfortunately without having the required components on hand it's difficult to assess what changes I need to make to suit the 260mm rotor.
Basically I need to know what offset is required to suit this rotor (to centre the calliper on the rotor) and the distance from the centre to a perpendicular line though the mounting points of the calliper.

No worries Paul, I'm sure I won't have the time to install the kit for a while anyway, just chasing up loose ends is all.
Thanks for the info on the rotors too, much appreciated. Will try to hunt down the slotted variants you mentioned, they sound like the go.
Cheers, Jason.

Hi Jason
I enquired with these guys regarding the RDA7103S which I think is the 283mm x 22mm rotor required. Just make your own enquiries prior to purchasing. I think they're pricing is also quite reasonable.

Hi Paul,
Any news on when the RX-7 brake adaptor brackets might be ready?
Cheers, Jason.

Paul thats correct. I used the RDA7103S slotted 283x22mm with your brackets and Rx7 callipers. If you dont want slotted just remove the "S" in the part code.

You will need to have the discs re-drilled to suit the hub your are using as the discs were originally a Citreon or Peugot drilling.

I did also have to machine one of the brackets (other one was ok) down 2mm so the disc sat centrally aligned to the calliper, but this may be from a number of things and i dare say was just variance in good old Ford production or something to do with the strut and brake mounts on the strut. Note im using 2.8i struts not escort should that make any difference?
For pics i put some in my (very slow) build thread.

Hi Jason
They're on my "to do" list at the moment but I'm hoping work commitments will settle shortly to allow me to complete a number of outstanding fabrication items.
Apologies for the lengthy delays.
