i not ruling out the pump but for some reason or the other i not quite convinced, heres my theory and i stand to be corrected
i the pump cannot supply enough for start up hoe is it that you can hold a constant 4500rpm with not break or signs of fuel starvation i also held her at 140/160 km/h on the freeway for about 3km she runs like a dream sweet as anything  but you get home switch her off and try starting she just cranks but no start up if you run start she will fire up perfect so this is what leading me to think that it is fuel related yes but not ;purely the pump, look if i am wrong then so be it but im lacking proof

Interesting and a few conflicting things... you said when cranking you chuck a little fuel in and it starts.... and then you say it push starts fine.  Does it start when hot?

If it push starts but does not start under crank it is probably the battery or cabling to car.

Can you check the voltage to the ecu under crank (or at least the battery voltage under crank)?  If it drops below 10 volts under crank then I'd suspect it.  OR get another car battery and connect it with jumper leads to exisiting battery and then try to start.

she start when cold after a short run you have a 2 out of 10 chance she may restart on the key if she doesnt then i can either run start her (dont like doing that) or i remove the vacumm pipe from the pressure regulator and place it into a bottle of fuel crank up from the key and she fires up i found the vacumm pipe way easier then always removing the intake pipe its quicker and less hassle. but i will give the battery a check as i have checked up the starter feeds as well as engine and chasiss earths anything else you can advise

I had one of these cars and had very similar problems, and after trying everything I could, which went on for weeks, I found out it was  the earth strap from the engine to the bulkhead, I was amazed at how a bad earth can cause this sort of problem and to look at it it was fine. I cleaned it up and replaced it and all the problems disappeared, hope this helps at least its a cheap and simple thing to check
