turbo oil drain is s/s braid over teflon -10
turbo water feed and return is s/s braid over rubber -6

Guys,
On a pinto, where do you hook up your turbo oil feed and return too and your water feed and return etc.

Water not as important has i may just run an oil only turbo but would be good to know water as well for reference sake.

Thanks,
Kieran

just hook up oil feed out of the oil sender position i'll be running -4 feed and -8 return the return is just welded onto the sump

Thanks for that Joe.
Thats what i was thinking you could do but wasn't sure if that would drop the oil pressure or something like that.

As a way of getting around pulling the sump off, could i run the return line to where the ecv type valve was, as ive removed this and just return through this hole?

not sure what affect that will have on crank case ventalition and it's a pretty long way to run a return, i pulled the sump off with the engine still in the car was a bit of mucking around, put a jack block of timber under the sump undo the engine mounts, undo steering coupling drop the crossmember & steering rack (left the lca and steering rack attached to the xmber) drop the starter motor then supported the motor from the top with a beam sittin on blocks on each inside guard and a good strap, took the jack out then undo the sump

Your better off drilling and tapping the side of the block for your oil return.
If you put it in the side of the sump you may block the drain on corners and turbos like to have a constant oil drain or the will start to bypass your rear seal on your turbo.
Just my two cents

summit racing i think there actually sold as a fuel block, not the best quality needed a bit of tapping out to get everything to fit , but what doesn't need tweaking to fit on an escort lol
