Nice, finally a mk2 shell. Looks like a nice shelf queen. Good to see they are 190mm bodies, for those of us who use electric cars. I'm asuming they can be used on any TC?

Not that im aware of. however, I just bought one and funnily enough it turned up today. looks good. the front of it from the a pillers forward is a separate piece that screws on other then that should be sweet once I eventually put it on.

How does this split body stand up to the battle on the track (ie: an accident). Any splits or cracks from direct contact?

Don't known yet David but thats a valid point you bring up. Time will tell I suppose.

Let us know if it you have any problems - I'd like to put this on my RC car, but some of the hits it takes I'd want to know the body could stand up to it.

Wouldn't want to pay that sort of money for shelf life only

The Anglia looks sweet

That would be good to know, all of my bodies (Speed 6 and LTC-R) have cracks around front arches and on the front bar. It looks like I'll have to modify a front bar for my TC5 just to make a mk2 shell fit.
I'm curious to see if these bodies will fit a Tamiya M03/5

I found out about this site through someone I race against
http://www.budgetrcracer.com.au/page11.htm

The classic Ford shells are designed for the Tamiya M03/M05 chassis which are used for Mini racing, but can't go wrong with an Anglia or Mk1 Escort van.
And best of all the site is Australian so no waiting for week(s) for it!

I got the Escort van body, I'll post pics of it when I get it painted in my racing colours (Blue nose, red rear, and fluro green and white highlights)

Heres my Esky Van

I'll be racing this at 2010 South Australian EP State Titles
