For those in the know, when using adjustable TCA's with \bearing through x-member instead of bushes, are these http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=1113_1131_1140_1146&products_id=9285 the side spacers required so theres no free play?

Long time to wait for a reply. Without a picture it's hard to tell.

The TCA kits come with the spacers - did you not get them?

Hopefully you have fixed it up by now but

I got all parts I required in the end. Was just a little concerned initially as they were not described in any listing or pictured.

what's the dealio with having to drill out the X-member to take the larger bolts?

Am I missing something here...
Why wouldn't the kit be made with a rosejoint the correct size that can utitilise the std dia bolt??

The correct side spacers step down and fit inside the spherical ball to retain the original bolt size

Looks like I've got the wrong side spacers then. Ideally I'd prefer not to drill the X-member bolt holes out incase I have to revert to std TCA's for a roadworthy type inspection.

Hi Rhys,

you can with a small amount of work fit the original crush tubes inside the new spacers and use the original bolts.

The crush tubes need to be linished or turned to a slip fit about .005". Either of these jobs very easy with the use of a lathe or can be done by hand but can very time consuming and not that accurate.

If you need me to do set for you let me know.

The larger bolts are used as insurance as there is no longer a bush to absorb any impact.

PM me your cost to do so.I was hoping to put it back together this weekend. Otherwise I can look into getting it done locally. I dont own a lathe [V]
