I called him.. He said offers over 95k. Nice bloke and not a bad price, but out of my league I think.

I am amazed that a Phase 3 GTHO just got handed in for $620,000 in Melbourne, but 1 of 109 RS1800's world wide that is in mint original condition in Australia is only worth $95,000 AUD. Honestly if I had the money I'd pay 2-3 times that for one of these.

I love it. Was never really a fan until I saw this pic and did a bit of "research"!!
I hope someone from Qld buys it so I hae the chance to see it in the flesh!!
Just out of curiosity, how much is a fully restored (to original) Mk1 RS2000 worth?? Ballpark obviously...

Anywhere from $30000 to $50000 seems to be the price now. That seems a fair price until an RS1800 comes up at under 100K, then it seems over priced...

this thing is mint 95 is a lot of dollars though, i thought in England these things are about 15 thousand pounds about 45 our money ???? either way nice

I saw (what I assume to be) this car yesterday (plates were missing).  It was the first and probably the last time I'll see a real RS1800.  I was told it had been sold back to the UK, which didn't surprise me seeing how the exchange rate between Au and the UK has been going of late.

Yeah going back to the UK, went for about 80k I was told... Owner is a friend of a work colleague, as previous posts say really nice old fella, I went fishing for a price to see if he knew what he had, alas yes, haha, went packing with my meagre bank account...
