Sweet, I'm sure it's incredibly smooth to drive when you are not up it aswell, makes you wonder why you'd ever drive any other car ! Nice and smooth when your cruising and bad arse angry when your up it !!

What starter motor are you using ? You have a pinto ring gear on a cossie flywheel is that correct ? and a dellow pinto bellhousing ?
As my pinto starter stuggles to start the cossie after she's warmed up a little.

Thanks,
Damion

He is useing a escort cosworth starter motor, It is the one I had rebuilt. He had to have a spacer machined to fit it, but it works well to kick over the fresh motor. I couldn't tell you what ring gear it uses though.

1. Cossie flywheel machined to fit pinto ring gear.
2. Escort Cosworth Starter motor and adaptor ring to spigot as the
4x4 Cossie starter has a smaller spigot diameter.
3. Dellow Bellhousing

For correct information; best to get it from the owner.

Very True, it will interesting to see the improvement that is made by the fitting of the mechanical lokka.

Did the new actuator sort the boost problem ? and has the car been back on the rollers with more boost ?

Cheers,

Damion.

The turbo is out of its higher efficiency range.
It produces 228-242kW on the dyno 20-23psi.

This is one of the early plots (got late and just grabbed one of the 21 runs done); the boost control is all sorted now and we make the same power at 24psi. So the stock motor produces 260kW atw approx. By the way it is awesome to drive and already turns the tyres in an instant if requested. So numbers aside it is great.
I have 4 set points in the e-boost 2; approx 16, 20, 24 and 28 psi.

The power is the same from 24psi onwards, just comes in earlier with more boost. This was already evident with Phil’s car. So maybe we will look at increasing the flow capacity of the motor in the future but for now it is berserk enough. [88]
