Hi all
Can I use a 2L Tandem master cylinder on my Mk1 and just bock off one port off the master cyclinder with a bleeder?
Or doI have to feed each front disc with a seperate brake line and remove the brass T piece that feeds both front discs?
I am using 2L discs and drums on my Mk1.

Thanks
Emil

Not sure if it bolts up or not but the brake line threads in to the master cylinder are definitely different so you would need to change those at a minimum.

Whats wrong with the standard M/C?

I used the standard non boosted 1100 M/C for years with 2lt front and rear brakes before changing to a bias setup.

This is the master I'm using on my mk1. Its apparently off an early car that didn't run a booster.

It bolts straight to the firewall and works really well. I just used the same mk1 lines and ends, just shortened as they don't need to go to the front of the engine bay now.
