finished fitting some new bits on the esky. as it sits it has far too much castor. can only turn slightly left or right before the wheel hits the front guard.

i have some compression struts. by fitting them i will gain castor adjustment, correct? i have seen some setups with a sway bar link to the front bolt on the comp strut and up to the swaybar. is this the most desirable setup? also can someone point me in the right direction of how to work out where to fit the other end of the strut.

i am still new to playing with suspension so any advice will be great.

cheers

Live with it & chop the front part of the arch away, it will give negative camber when cornering. I done this with my mk2 after lowered and a 24mm Selbys bar went on the wheels mangled the guards....solution...Grinder!! Also is your steering balljoint bolted in correctly??

Yeah that's what people were.saying on the other forum. I'm a bit apprehensive to cut it though.

And yeah I'm aware the ball joint is.on the wrong way.

I ended up re-locating my front arches up 2inch higher & 1.25inch forwards, made a neat job of it then i stuck a trimmed Mex spoiler on to look standard
