Ok, surely I can't be the only one out there thats done this....naming your Escort, the kids think its great [:x)][:x)][:x)] ....the wife thinks I'm a bit odd for it...lol.

The mk2 1600 is called Harriet ! (Good English name after the harrier...)

The mk1 is Brittney (after, whoops I've done it again! This was after I 'accidentally' won it on eBay[88][88][88][88]

Rat 100e is Irene
Rat Anglia wagon is Dennis
Hillman Imp is Hurley
But for some reason the RS is just 'the escort'

Any car I work on is sh!tbox. Whether or not it's actually a good car doesn't affect the naming process, it's always "sh!tbox"
When it's no longer in the build stage, that's when it can get a name.

The filter here prevents me from using most of the names I've called my project.

My cars are normally refered to by colour so i have the orange car, the purple car and the green car.

I should call the project car Julia... cause it's cost me way more than I anticipated, hasn't really done anything for years and i'm still not sure why I've kept it so long.

Me and a couple of mates name our cars after the previous owner. My brown Escort is Betty, my mates series 4 Capella is George, and his yellow project is called Daisy.
