I've been looking around for the steering column / firewall grommet for the mk1 Capri, not fussed about it being a genuine item, just a functional item. So basically the sizes are, 38 mm diameter in the firewall and the steering column is 28 mm diameter. I've tried everywhere to try to get something suitable and the closest I've come is a superpro polyurethane suspension bush that will need a small modification that isn't a problem for me, but a perfect item would be great, any comments or help would be great.

So does anybody have an update on the steering column firewall grommet situation and where they may be available ?
I have seen questions asked here regarding alternatives from Escorts etc but it seems that there is a lack of information out there in Ford Enthusiast Land regarding this part........
