Hey guys,
Bought this escort a couple months back and have been working regularly on it since.
I have finished engine, electrics and interior. Just need to do the outside now.
Previous owner has (i assume) reversed the car into a lowish object and also banged up the passengers side.
I am not exactly loaded. So looking for the most optimal way of fixing this. I was thinking of trying to paint match and have the two panels repainted. But I reckon i will need to replace them (really expensive!) I have attached a few photo's to give you an idea. The roof, bonnet and the whole drivers side is basically immaculate. The pictures will explain

The problem is that this isn't the first time the panel has been bent. There is bog everywhere! Couple of blokes doing rally and do their own panel work reckon ditch the panels, but I'm sure you guys would know more about escorts and the fact that they are a pain to remove panels.

The arch must have either been pushed in the accident or in a separate ordeal.
Seems that this is atleast the second time the poor car has been crashed!

with those kinks in the wheelarch quarters, I can garantee if you look real close at the chassis rails over the wheelarch and just behind you will find also a couple of kinks in the chassis, still fixable with the right attitude and pulling with the right panelbeater.

Not too sure about the rear but the front panels aren't that bad to get off. I think i counted 42 spot welds plus the ones at the front on the bottom, but used a grinder down there because i have another panel to put on. The only problem is you need a spot welder for an original look. I plan on making mine bolt on.
