Just a bit of info for anyone looking for clutch options.
when using pinto clutch pressure plate (215mm)
The Toyota Townace KR42 1.8 01/96>
215mm centre plate.
21 tooth spline with 29mm input shaft dia.(same as supra & celica)
PBR R8593W std duty
PBR R8589W heavy duty.
Exedy heavy duty TYD034U
Picked up a plate from local Autopro store today for $50.
Now I need to machine up a 15mm o/d spacer with a 12mm i/d hole 15mm long to match the Toyota input shaft with the Ford spigot bearing.

FYI there is a sleeve that you can buy from the bearings and seals mobs to suit the spigot on the gear box. you loctite it on.

I will try to track down the number.

Its a sleeve that goes on to the supra input shaft , so you can use the standard spigot bush.The numbers on the packet are...

IR12x15x22,5 which are the dimensions.

Its a high tesile sleeve that is finely machined.It has other numbers on the packet which are(no distictive part number) I got it from a bearing shop that had to be ordered.

You use a sleeve glue on it , and tap it on till it bottoms out

You can buy a bronze spigot bush which replaces the Ford needle roller from Dellow in Sydney for about $10. Much better than sleeving or machining yourself.

Bushes are crap. Bearings are better. As for being reliable, my mate has raced with it for years. If you use the sleeve loctite and tap it on it won't be going anywhere.
