Hi all.
I am completely new to coil over.
I have just found out (the hard way) the struts in my esky which i have owned all my driving life - are 1.6L not 2L. Befor i go by some 2L and matching springs i am thinking of goin down the coil over path.
I have just got Koni yellow/sports for the front (which don't fit the 1.6 struts[V]) and i had lovell 2" lowered springs in front.
What size springs should i get with coil overs?
I don't know how to read the lenghts and weights.[:I]
Thanks.
Darren.

It all confuses the crap out of me too, just give SMCKA a call, he cleared things up for me and his springs are fairly cheap too.

Hey Jorgan.
Well i have been steered in the direction of a rather economical kit and so don't want to waste Steve's time with this. I am getting other things from him - like my gaz rears.

Just hoping some might provide there experience with different weights and how the ride was with them.
What wieght did you get?

Thanks.
Darren.

I only got like 200 LBS as I haven't done the rear yet and didn't want it to be way out. Will change them over when I decide what to do with the rear (too many options and need to work out what diff Im putting in) I think if its your everyday car Id wanna go 250-275 (what I was recommended) so its not a beach to drive every where. other wise you can go all the way up to like 350s and crap if its just for track.

It's not my everyday although it was before.
I liked it pretty hard with the lovells.
I have an extra leaf in the back and retensioned so it's pretty tough out back.
I think i might go hard and then if i need to back off i'll have to - i don't want it fluffy.
