Boot seal pictures please Capri MK1

The small seal at the front of the boot lid, what does it look like ? Can someone please take me a couple of pictures. can't seem to find it on a parts list anywhere, has someone purchased one recently?

They only came on odd ones - looked thru all of mine - not one has that seal!

Mine used to have it. More trouble than it’s worth. It bends out of shape and then lets moisture in not and makes the boot seal not work. I’ll check if I have pics. I sold the car so?

A couple of pictures of my boot seal. It's currently attached with self tappers but I believe it should be riveted. Mine is a 10/70 build and I believe it came with this seal from the factory. Sorry about the dodgy photos, had the camera on manual focus without knowing it.

I think the part marked T41248 could be the seal you are looking for.

Thanks guys, Timmo mines a 9/70, build so seal probably fitted at the factory. Quick question is the backing hard or is it just soft rubber. Thanks for the part no philh, yep all I need is a supplier? any ideas.

Mine is soft rubber, no hard backing.
