Has anyone sourced a new seal for the golde (factory) sunroof? Are they the same as mk3

Same as MK1 MK2 Golf, 1970's BMW's, be careful if you have a vinyl roof as a regular one will foul.  I have a new one to suit vinyl roof for my 3000E as I fitted a standard one when I first restored the car.  If you want to swap it over you can have the one thats on it now!!  

I order a Mk2/3 seal from the UK. Ebay seller was king_capri
 
The fit wasn't great at first (bulged above the roof line when fully closed. I fixed this by slicing the rubber seal to flatten it and glued it with contact. Good result in the end. There may be a better fitting seal out there so worth checking.

I think it was East Kent Trimmers or Capri Club International. Ill find the seal as its still in the bag which has a card attached
