ok buying some capri struts complete minus calipers are mk2 2ltr calipers the same? is there anything the same or better that is a direct bolt on? all so if anyone has any let me no!

From memory all you'll need to change is the bolts that hold the calipers on. You'll need imperial threaded and shorter versions.

They are not identical but both are suitable on the strut.

great! is there much differance, like there dont have a really small piston compared to the capri?

Same everything, Capri has 'P16' for imperial mount and Esc mk2 has M16 for metric mount. A mk2 caliper will slop about on the mounts as metric bolts are a tiny bit larger(larger mount hole) but nothing to concern over. Hydraulic lines are imperial too so keep that in mind as threads are different.
You can bolt on Volvo 4spots from a old 244/242/264 with minor drilling/filing

to easy, so basicly ill just have to swap my mk1 brake lines for mk2? nothing to serous,is the filingp/drilling of the knuckle or the caliper?

If ur sticking vents on, all you do is oval the caliper mounts slightly, plus the usual brake line adaptions, keep the same m/cyls too! With solids there is a minimal cast grinding to do on the struts, nothing threatning
