hi guys, my names Brodie and i just bought a mk1 four door.
Quick rundown on the car, 1600 auto, very straight car, small amount of rust, and picked it up for a steal! Already started gutting it out, and restoring parts such as the woodgrain on the dash... some progress pics and when i got it

yes, the workshop on the street is nostalgic
reminds me of me 35 years ago, how times have changed
remember doing a clutch on my HR out the front of mum and dads years ago. with one wheel up on the kerb, and lying in the gutter to get clearance, as none of the mates had ramps or stands, let alone a trolley jack
