OK, i cleaned the piston and rods and they came up fine. i might get the crank polished and the block cleaned properly as i want this engine to be strong and reliable!
Also... i think i am picking up a car today!! woohoo! the plans have already changed but i will update with details once its a done deal!

I picked up a 4 door Ghia this afternoon! pretty happy with it! but its a manual 5 speed mitsubishi scorpion box and a scorpian diff. The car has a very high ratio, i have never heard of this conversion before i will take some pictures of it all underneath once i get a chance. probably on the weekend! but here are some pics as it is.. i havent cleaned it up or done anything to it yet!

i will eventually fit air condition, and i have a round headlight kit to fit also! the front sits higher than the rear so i want to sort that out too but other than that i am really Happy!!!
