Well, its been a long while since i have had a Classic Ford. I have been driving an Auto focus sedan which is hardly worth mentioning!
Anyway.  I have always wanted to turbocharge a pinto and an engine became available for me to purchase with the wifes blessing so i picked it up on Saturday!
 
 
 
 
 

So i have a block honed and bare ready for a clean up... these parts were sitting in a shed since i think 2003, they were never fitted apart from the head as the cam was run in.
 
The head had over 4 grands worth or work. ported polished, valves, double valve springs, turbo cam etc....
i have a SU carby as i will be using a draw through setup
T4 turbo rebuilt and flowed and a Tial 38mm Wastegate
the Exhaust manifold was modified (nothing special)
the inlet has been modded but nothing special and has an adaptor
it has a full exhaust system but has a few rust holes but its something i can work with full 3inch system with good mufflers
the pistons and rods... i am unsure of the rods
the pistons are Falcon pistons.
Everything was new and balanced but it never made it together, so i have to give it a good clean up but i dont have a car yet to put it in so have all the time in the world!
 
Now the part not many will like...
I want to build a 4 door Auto! yep you read it right... an Auto 4 door!

I have a few head gaskets but i am unsure of what type they are?? i have taken a photo of one if anyone recognises the brand and if its anygood for turbo let me know? i am thinking of maybe getting a cometic mls instead... but if these are ok i may just stick with what i have! i have loads of odds and sodds to go with the engine but this is the bulk of it all... i hope to clean everything up myself hopefully with out needing any help from work shops) and assembling it all!

Head gasket apears to be Durapro , by Precision international. I have used these before,  Decent graphite gasket.

prob dont want any of these i would probably only part with my white shell but shes a bit rusty, parts on the otherhand, i wrecked the white onand half another one so have a fair few spares if you get stuck
