What is the going rate for a matching number V6 Capri.
Light Blue manual with a Cams log book.

Will the stockmarket go up or down next week?
Its very hard to quantify because of so many variables not the least is whether people have the confidence to buy at the moment.
For what its worth heres my opinion.
Basket case.... few thousand.
Reasonably straight project that is mainly complete....... up to 8 thou.
Pretty good car that is roadworthy and all there. .......up to 15 thou.
Original or properly rebuilt car that is outstanding.......... 20 thou plus.  This last one is hard to estimate because there are so few in this condition sold. It could come down to how much do you realy want it?
Be interesting to see others opinions.

The owner has only run 30 laps in three years.
Finding out if said car has a nb log book tomorrow.

A friend has come across a  1971 Capri and he's seriously interested in it, but very new to capris and any specific troubles they may have. By all accounts its a genuine v6 gt, and unfortunatley or not depending on how you look at it, its now got a 289w in it, supra 5 and nine inch with 5 stud conversion all round. Interior is mint and original, it has got some rust and would need a new bonnet and boot, together with a full respray. But its all engineered and got current rego in NSW.
I'd appreciate a rough appraisal and info on rust problem areas for the capri, or any other useful info.

Mark it won't have an Nb log book as the cutout for that class is the end of 62 it might have a Nc log book but as far as value goes that can actually devalue it to some

price wise for a start does it have triple carbs do you know who prepared the engine also complete interior is required for NC i believe.
lately i've seen
1 matching numbers v6 go for around 13k which requires a full rebuild 
other than that
20-30k for anything decent for road use  
30-50k for a full built nc race car not matching numbers
