So i decided my original plan to sit the gauges on top of the dash just looked horrible. So... i had to recess the gauges which looks soooooo much better.

Now for the carbon fibre
I am terrified of it - so damned hard to work with!!!

Got a spare Mil
I think that's what it would take to put me through that again.
And i still have the fibre to go. I am really not looking forward to that.
It has disaster written all over it.

Take lots of photos so we can all laugh at your pain.

Seriously though, I am sure it will look awsome and you'll look back and think it's all worth it.

Cheers

Pain!? ...... Pain!!?? - more like torture and outright abuse.
I hate CF. It is horrible to work with. :-(
Didn't happen as i would have liked but it is ok.
A few issues when you look close which i am disappointed about.

Changing the green led's to blue in the widow switches.
Also making them come on with headlights rather than on all the time.

The whole dash, Matt - get it - dash matt. Ha Ha Ha. - sorry,

It's not finished yet - nor is the pod. Thats just how the epoxy resin lays up - gotta even it out and smooth it and then polish it yet.
You can just see the underside of the dash above - complete with resin drips.

lol - no. so over it.
The pods pretty good exept the front needs some work.
Mainly the dash.
If you see it in the flesh it has ripples and runs and drips that
need sanded out and then brought back to pollish.
The epoxy goes on like honey from the fridge. - thick as. Thn settles
and runs everywhere.
On top of all this - it has to be perfect - or at least that where i aim.
Failure is a certainty.
