Very cool

this might sound a bit keen but looks like we are about to give it a going over in the body. there are a couple of dents and marks, some pain runs and he boot lid is a different colour.
will be keeping the same colours etc, just a nicer paint job and the little dents and marks will be gone...

Mate, enjoy it, race it. then fix it up when you need to.
Don't turn it into a show car your too afraid to drive hard.

Plus my uncle needs another MK1 down tassie to race against. Your corty will still look clean beside his.

Removing the steering bump stops is all you need to do.

yeah thats what i want to do, but i think my dads mate is getting itchy as the two of them haven't finished a car in a while and dads is still a bit away from being finished, mine will be a couple of weekends and a few nights afer work for the 3 of us. plus i might cage it out while it is apart for painting
