Paul,if it helps these are actually an old set of Simmons wheels.
They are a 2 piece wheel, not 3 piece as the later types are.

I will try and get some better pics of the rims for you tonight.

Thanks Chris.

I think mine are a 7.5" rim with a 12P offset. From memory i think mine are 3.5" aouter and 4" inner. The mounting face of my centre is only slightly inboard of the rim mounting surface.

Mine seem to allow a lot of dish but still with the recommended 12P(rear) offset under the guards

Front (7" 24P offset) and rear (7.5" 12P)

Thanks Lucas.

I figure the Carbon Fibre wont be to everyones taste but i wanted to do something a little different with this car, bring it a little more up to date, hence the non standard color etc.
Having said that,if the urge strikes, i do have a mint standard rear spoiler & mirrors etc that i can fit

nothing wrong with trying man, and if you like it then there is no issue at all. I take it your not building it for me to like it and drive it so go for your life. Im also not a fan of 4drs but there are always exceptions and this is definently one of em. Keep up the good work i look forward to seeing the final product.

I do like the touches with the Carbon Fiber. Always hard to find some of those things around. Is really going to make a unique car.

I think it's a subtle touch - I like it.

let's face it from 20 feet you'll probably not notice the carbon fibre detail and they'll look black anyhow - when you get up close you see the effect - NICE!
