mate,every spare moment has been spent working on the car!
I hoped to get a bit more done over my Xmas Hols than i actually did but having my partner move in to my place sorta threw a spanner in the works![;^)]
Having said that,it is going well & im busting my bum to have it there so fingers crossed
Might have to see if i can get a volunteer to drive the Mex down to SFS for me!

So do you need someone to drive the spearmint rhino or a bunch of blokes to PUSH the blue RS all the way to SFS ....

Just a driver for the Mex.The blue one should make it there under its own power
Which car are you going to have there????

Just the green machine. The yellow RS is painted but i cant start reassembling it until after we move into garage-a-saurus in 3 weeks.

Are you going to post up some pics of the yellow one? i would love to see how it looks

Well,i thought i would dust this thread off & bring it back out into the daylight & post a bit of an update[:I]

Ive been working on the interior of late.
Most of it is back in now except for the front seat belts.
They will be sent away to have new belts fitted & the inertia reel mechanisms repaired.
Here are a few dodgey pics of the interior.....











After chasing around for months,i was able to replace the column stalks with NOS Ford parts,along with all the switches,right down to the pedal pads for brake,clutch & accelerator.

Engine went off for its big rebuild last week.



Got a call from the engine builder to say the block has already been bored .060 and he would recommend sourcing a replacement

Made a few calls & was able to turn up a virgin block which is now in having its rebuild.

Nice to see some action happening on YOUR project again rather than that other blokes ..
