I need the complete steering coupling assembly for a mark 1 Capri. Can be shagged, just need it for research.

There are about 3 versions, all are the "same only different". This becomes very apparent when doing a V8 conversion and using the off the shelf extractors

OK I 'fess up.

I am trying to get replacement universal assemblies to replace the original. I need a coupling as a sample so I can get some done.

Appreciate any advice about the differences in couplings you can give me. I'm also hoping these will fit the V8 conversions as well.

I also need a steering rack as I may have found a quick rack solution...
Happy to pay for these and/or show some appreciation if it all comes together and I get some stock

You can use the ones Whooli has of mine as you will see there are 2 coupling thicknesss

So the only differnce is the coupling thickness? And the overall length of the shaft is identical, regardless of coupling size?

How do V8 conversions go; do they use the same angle of shaft and it's just the uni size that is the issue?
