Just getting the car ready for a drive to Melbourne, fuel pump was playing up so pulled it out and cleaned it. When put back its leaking from around the gasket between the 2 halves. I was going to try pulling it apart and sealing it up, but if that doesn't work I was going to swap it for one off my spares.

This is the current one (shoddy pic, I should have got one while it was off the car)

Looks like this one

These are the spares. They look a bit different and the pump arm looks like its longer on these ones. Or maybe it was just cause these are missing the spacer?

So, after all that waffle, can I chuck one of these spares on as a straight swap for the one I have?

Always a good option to buy a new one and fit it before the old spare causes grief.
Why muck around?

Is it a part that is usually in stock? I need it before tomorrow afternoon.
I'll have a ring around in the morning.

Yes, if you can get a new one I would. Especially as you are driving to Melb.

Cheers

I had the same two pumps and swapped one for the other. No problems
