I have started restoring 1980 4dr rs 2000
Does anyone know where I might be able to get seat rails and possibly seats.
Previous owner changed the set up and I want to get it back to original.

Hey there Mark, seat rails should be the same as the ghia, although these are getting hard to find as well but may be worth a try........

Ok scrap the 'getting hard to find' quote, theres a pair of ghia seats on gumtree perth, $40, pm me if you like, I don't mind helping to pick them up and get them posted........

Everyone gives me different info but from from what I can work out the rs 2000 rails are different to the ghia.
The rs have attached legs on the rails where as the ghia are similar to other escorts with the legs attached to the crossmember.
Unless they changed in year model?

No there's no uprights on floor,checked numbers etc it's a genuine rs.I had been to a wrecker and he showed me what he said was a ghia body and it had the welded uprights on the floor. So it obviously wasn't a Ghia. If I was to use the ghia seats for now and somehow find some scheel seats in the future will it all be at the right height etc?
